Visiting The Local Sites

Tombstone

With some friends visiting from Alaska, we decided to jump in the car and see some local sites. When I first started this blog I mentioned that this ranch is smack dab in the middle of many historic wild west events. In fact, if you have ever seen the movie Tombstone with Val Kilmer and Kurt Russell, this ranch we now live on was a part of the ranch owned by Henry Hooker (Charlton Heston's character in the same movie).

We are not far from Tombstone, so we went there first:

Everyone else sat on historic Allen Street and talked to a crazy lady while I used the weirdest public restroom I have ever seen (I wish I had my camera)!

I DID have my camera, however, when the stagecoach drove by...

...and thought it was funny to see a UPS truck pop-out from behind.

After Tombstone we jumped over to Bisbee.

Dana pointed out that the main street of this historic mining town looked as though it was Diagon Alley, plucked straight out of a Harry Potter movie.

She's right!

Now THAT was a little weird!
